Fishing charters operate all year round, with the exception being during the monsoon rains, which occur between late December and the end of February.
We fish for barramundi, black jew, threadfin salmon, spanish mackerel, tuna, golden snapper and mud crabs, in mainland billabongs, coastal estuaries, remote islands and offshore reefs, which offer not only excellent fishing but unforgettable picturesque flora and fauna.

Darwin Barra Fishing Day Tour
If you’re only in the Top End for a short visit, you can still enjoy the thrill of catching a Northern Territory Barra.
Many of the Top End’s famous Barra fishing locations are just a short distance from Darwin.
On a one-day tour from Darwin you can try your hand at catching a Barramundi and still get to see some of the sensational scenery the Northern Territory is famous for.
Some of the fishing locations just a few hours away from Darwin include Darwin Harbour, Bynoe Harbour, Corroboree Billabong, Mary River and Shady Camp.
Vanderlin Island Sportfishing Safaris
Snug to the coastline of the Gulf of Carpentaria a series of islands make up the Sir Edward Pellew Group of Islands.
Darren’s Northern Territory Barramundi Safaris hosts clients at their beach camp on one of these, Vanderlin Island.
From this base camp you may fish the tidal creeks along the remote coastline or chase a variety of pelagics around the islands. Offshore, remote shallow reef areas offer up tropical speedstersthat have made this area of the Northern Territory famous. Big GT’s, Spanish mackerel, monster queenfish and bottom species such as coral trout and emperors are all on offer from this fantastic destination.

The best way to experience Top End fishing is with an extended fishing safari.
Fish from dawn to dusk and try night fishing. From two to fourteen days, the extended tours will allow more time on the water and many more fishing options.
All meals and accommodation is included on the extended safaris – just pack your personal requirements.
